Real World
I'm Liam O'Donnell, an elementary educator and award-winning children's author specializing in fiction and non-fiction graphic novels for middle readers (kids aged 8-14 years.) While I'm not a scientist, I have written many articles and several graphic novels about science for kids. I've also taught elementary grade science to kids in schools, with the aim of sparking a love of scientific inquiry in all young minds.
I'm a total WoW n00b, but getting the hang of it (I think!)
I'm very interested in looking at the educational applications in mmos like WoW and other virtual worlds for scientists, scholars and young gamers everywhere.

I'm a Neverwinter Nights (1 & 2) nut with several toons on several rp & action servers, including World of Amon and Higher Ground.
In Second Life, I'm Smartlak Goodfellow, where I drop in from time to time to attend conferences put on by ISTE.
As an educator interested technology in the classroom, I also belong to Classroom 2.0 and RezEd, the MacArthur funded community for anyone interested in using virtual worlds in education.
